The workshop is part of a well-established tradition of collaboration in applied mathematics between French and Chilean research teams, working in the field of optimization and its related fields. It reflects a fruitful scientific partnership, aiming to share theoretical and methodological advances while addressing concrete challenges in various areas of optimization theory, including theoretical advances, algorithmic innovations, and diverse applications in fields such as engineering, economics, environmental sciences, and many others.

Organized by French teams, previous editions of the workshop have been held in various cities: Limoges (1995), Paris (1997), Avignon (1998), Montpellier (2003), Dijon (2006), Toulon (2008), Perpignan (2011), Toulouse (2017), and once again in Perpignan (2022).

The tenth edition will take place in Rouen, from July 8 to 11, 2025, marking an important milestone in this series of scientific meetings.

Participation in the event is open to all, but registration is mandatory to facilitate the organization.
